Small, grade divided, groups where kids connect with their peers while they learn God’s Word and how it applies to their lives.
- Sunday at 10:30 AM
Kids learn to worship and fellowship together in one large Kids Worship class to mirror the “Big Church” experience of community worship and teaching.
- Curriculum: Preschool and Kids
- Bible Studies for Life by LifeWay Publishers. Children learn Bible stories each week that point to Jesus and how to apply concepts learned to their lives.
- Family Night - September through May
- Wednesday 6:00 PM through 7:30 PM
Age divided small groups for birth through 5th grade, studying Gospel Project, a chronological study through the Word with each lesson pointing to Jesus. Kids learn that God’s Word is one big story. Grade K through 5 enjoy worship and recreation times as well.
Any time children meet, this class is also offered for children who may need one on one attention or a specific environment to have hbc meet their needs.
A class offered 2 to 4 times a year, as needed, for children who are brand new believers or are ready to be. Parents notify Sara Eves when they are interested and commit to 5 weeks of class, one hour each on Sunday mornings. The first week is for parents and the next 4 are for the kids as they learn the basics of their walk with Jesus at hbc.
VBS is scheduled annually for the last week of June for children who have completed kindergarten through 5 th grade. Five mornings, Monday through Friday, of that week kids from church and the community have a wonderful time in study, song, worship, crafts, and recreation, all centered on learning about Jesus. Many volunteers are needed for this event as it serves over 350 children!
Held in Mid-August each summer for kids who’ve completed grades 3 through 6 th . A week of study and fun away from home at Camp Arawana, tucked into the Cascade forest outside of Welches Oregon.Adults are needed to attend as counselors and activity leaders. Kids can also participate in fundraisers to earn scholarship funds to cover a portion of the costs.
